Congrats to the Gators...
It's a sad morning in the Buckeye Nation,
As I wake up this morning, I was thinking the events of last night were just some horrible nightmare. Then I realize, it was no nightmare. It was the Florida Gators. Last night we had a couple friends over including our Gator friends. It's no fun to watch the game alone. We had plenty of good munchies and beverages to go around. The excitement was great, the HD was great, the crowd was great... the buckeyes were not so great.
As soon as I get into work, I'm sure I'll have a line of the gator nation and buckeye haters (they always come out on mornings such as this). I plan on borrowing the local grocery stores "Take a number" stand and then put up a "now serving number XX" sign. But from everything I saw last night, the Gators earned this victory and came into this game with a plan. They knew what they had to do and they did it. Congrats to the Gators this morning. It was nice to see the underdog win, albeit at the expense of my Buckeyes, who just seemed completely out of it.
Now that all the bowl games have been played... the Fiesta Bowl between Boise State and Oklahoma has to have been the best bowl game this year.
But it's college football and as Craig's dad says on the movie Friday: "You win some, You lose some, but you live to fight another day."
