Jumping on our Trampoline!!

Good Morning folks,
Greetings from a warm and partly sunny Orlando. I couldn't wait to post this about a track I heard on Pete Tong's essential selection show yesterday. It's Joey Negro's remix of "Trampoline" by the group Tamara's World. I know, I know, so many dj's taking and mixing up songs etc. But this one is catchy and reminds me of something from the late 80s. It's very electronic. But it's cool.

I've attached a link to a 2:00 minute sample over at traxfor.net website. To hear the sample audio visit the traxfor website by clicking here, then click on "mix1" to hear the Joey Negro Jumpa mix. Another window will open with what looks like the image of an ipod and the sample will automatically begin playing.

I've also attached a photo of this release, courtery of Juno Records, so that you can see the Joey Negro remix is the first one, but there are a couple others. I didn't bother with the others since Joey's mix was the one I heard on the show and liked. Hope you enjoy it too! It's a keeper!

Enjoy

Another Gem from the Summer...

This one I couldn't get out of my head either... Hello Everyone! Hope you had a great Turkey day! I did. We had all sorts of yummy food-low fat food. Up until this past Monday I was still on the low-fat diet for my surgery. But now I'm working in regular food again. Hooray!!

I haven't had much time to post on here, as we've been playing with the new projector and setting up all the christmas decorations around the house. We're also getting ready for the christmas card bulkmailing extravaganza.

I'm taking some time tonight, yep I know my Buckeyes basketball team is playing right now in HD. Relax- it's going to take me a little bit to get into the OSU Basketball, even though we are ranked very high. I'm still in College Football mode and with some games still going on this coming weekend, that continues to be my focus. Don't forget the BCS selection show on Fox this coming Sunday Dec 3rd.

So back to the "Gem from the Summer..." Ok well on BBC Radio 1 one day, Judge Jules or Pete Tong, one of those guys, wrapped up his set with a brilliant song from Team SR (Or Signalrunners-as I've come to find out is there other name) . The track's name was "Leaving London" It was the perfect cap to a nice trip of dance music from the white isle of Ibiza. I have been searching for "Leaving London" as it would also be a good song for when Jenny and I return to London in '08 and when we fly out we can play this. I firmly believe that on the way there we'll be playing that "London Calling" song. But for the trip home from London, in '08. I think it's definitely got to be this track. Am I looking ahead past our big Med cruise in '07? Perhaps. But it's London, and it's a place Jenny and I really enjoyed.

So enough rambling, check out this song "Leaving London".
You can visit Signalrunners myspace page (to listen to a long sample of "Leaving London") by clicking here.

Enjoy,
