Can't get the song out of my head...

So yesterday when I was exploring the Global Gathering 2006 website, I clicked on the flash video. The people partying, the people dancing, and the music thumping loudly. What was this song I kept hearing during the video that they made from the 2005 Global Gathering? Well I did some digging and I found it.. Yes!! It was the 2005 House Track: "Feel the Vibe" by Axwell. The version I liked is the one from the EP and it's nearly 8 minutes long, but it's a great track to make you want to get up and dance. In fact I happened to also stumble across the video for this song. Check out the video here! It reminds me of some of those Chicago House music songs I'd use to listen to as a kid on the old B96 mix shows or the 102.7 or 88.7 or even 107.5. Yes all of these Chicago stations at one time had these great weekend mix shows. I had boxes of cassettes of these recordings. If I would have held onto them... they would have been gold!

Gabe and Jenny Live in Ibeetha (IBIZA)

We would include a photo of us clubbing but we were too busy dancing it up... Just kidding!

Thanks to Radio1, Jenny and I feel as though we are with the rest of the crowds and dj's from Radio1 enjoying the hits direct on the island of Ibiza. It's great!! Sirius is currently playing the Essential Selection show from Pete Tong that he had live at Cafe Mambo in Ibiza and it's great with the crowds yelling in the background. Click here to hear this! He also has just begin playing Sasha from the Global Gathering event they had a couple weeks back.

The beats are pounding and the crowd is cheering.

Maybe in a couple years Jenny and I will do a "Gabe and Jenny with Radio1 Live in Ibiza".

Enjoy the tunes from the White Isle.
It's Friday!!

We're from Ohio.. O-H! We're from Ohio.. I-O!

In less than 30 days the college football season will be upon us. It is that time of year when those frou frou flags go in, and the collegiate flags come out. It is that time when you yearn for college football rivalries, tradition, upsets, nailbiters, near heart attacks.. Need I say more?

College football season is also the season when you send the Mrs to the mall for the day and when you begin your days with ESPN College Gameday on Saturday morning and you ride the sucker out through the day with Big Ten, then the SEC and finally the west coast games.. Oh how some of us yearn for this and how others will never quite "Get It". It is the true rivalries that cause a divide amongst us from birth (see above photo where some irresponsible parent had their child where a shirt from that awful school up north.. how sad).

Look for more College Football links on here as the season approaches. My Buckeyes have been already ranked #1 pre-season. I don't know what to truly say about that except for that there is a whole season ahead of us and I just want our team to play hard and the Buckeye Nation to rally around them. I prefer to have our team come up from behind, versus having a bullseye right on it.

Bring on the ESPN College Gameplan honey , keep those beers on ice... and fasten your seatbelt for one hell of a ride that is the 2006 College Football Season.. Go Bucks!

See you in October Columbus!!

Shake...and Bake!!

Jenny and I went out to the movies on Friday to see the much anticipated Talladega Nights- the Legend of Ricky Bobby. We had a great time and enjoyed Will Ferrell. He was very funny. Gary Cole was great as his dad with the Laughing Clown Malt Liquor tall boy cans he was drinking...Yeah... Get-R-Done. We also enjoyed all the shameless product placement, and marketing ads such as the Applebee's. It kind of reminds me of back in the day, when in my small hometown, the Ponderosa was considered some fine dining. Yeah.. Ali G was great as was Andy Richter in his little role. Shake ... and ... Bake!!

It looks like the movie did well this past weekend: Click Here!
