Nice Track and The Global Warm-Up

I just heard this track on Area 33 this week and had to recommend it. It's called "Until Monday" and its done by Guiseppe Ottaviani and Marc Van Linden. You can listen to it by clicking here.

Not to confuse it with the Global Warm-Up discussed in the sobering documentary: "An Inconvenient Truth" (which Jenny and I went to see and thought it was good), Sirius has a new show called the Global Warm-Up on Area 33. As they state on their website: "DJ, producer and writer Judge Jules imports his award-winning Radio 1 show, The Global Warm-Up, to the U.S. It's a two-hour blend of funky house and trance with exclusive mixes showcasing the world's most famous DJs. " Every couple of songs, a woman's voice interrupts and says "Your Now in Session with the Judge!" It's great!

There are no archived versions of the Global Warm-Up show that I could find on the internet. However, Judge Jules does have his mix sets on his website. Take a listen to his latest posted one from June by clicking here.

Shuttle Landing

STS-121 is due to wrap up this Monday with the Space Shuttle Discovery's landing at Kennedy Space Center. The landing is expected to occure at 9:07AM and from what the residents have told us, Jenny and I should hear some pretty loud booms in our respective offices sometime prior to due to the Sonic Boom from Discovery. This will be the first time the shuttle lands, while Jenny and I are living here in Orlando and we're looking forward to hearing the noise from it coming in. It should be pretty cool as Larry David would say.

Jenny is on 1974 of "I Love the 70's Volume 2"

Oh yeah, as I am posting to this blog site, Jenny has the tivo on and is watching a marathon of Vh1's "I Love the 70's Volume 2" . She has a bunch of shows and I have been peeking at some of them on our small tv in the office, while she watches them this morning and they are funny. But I can only take the comedian drop ins and comments for a limited time. The VH1 shows are not as bad as those from E! which are very painful, where they do the top 10 this and top 100 that. I believe it's because the guy from E! has a messed up voice. I don't know his name, but I am sure Jenny does. He is painful.

Orlando IS getting an IKEA store

The announcement for this came out a while ago, but it's great news to Jenny and I as IKEA is always our favorite store to visit. You never know what you will find new there, and the stores are always a fun place to visit. Click on the title to go straight to the article regarding the store announcement. Before our Orlando store opens, there will be an opening down in Broward county for the Miami area IKEA. We might just have to plan a trip on downtown Brevard county.

Recall in an earlier post on the old Blog layout, that I had recommended a great Businessweek article about IKEA. Here is the cover of that issue once again, followed by the link to the file:

Giving this Blog thing another chance

Good Morning Everyone!,
So Jenny and I are giving this new Blog thing a chance. I saw a story about blogging on CBS last Sunday and it mentioned the Blogger website. Therefore I checked it out and liked what I saw. We have been very busy with friends and family visits and also heading out to the Movies and enjoying shuttle launches. So this weekend, is the first, in a while, where we have nothing planned, no movies to see and no errands to run. So I'm taking a stab at setting up our site once again and will teach Jenny on how to post to this. Please be patient with us as we try to get the hang of this. :)

Oh and here is a picture test to see how this looks.
